The communication folder is a very important form of daily interaction between the teacher and parent. If your child loses his or her folder or if it is damaged in any way, it cannot be replaced. Also, please make sure to check your child's folder each day for important information such as homework assignments, newsletters, picture order forms, receipts, etc. If you send notes, doctor's excuses, permission slips, money, etc. please place it inside the folder. We do not check book bags for these items.

The 100 Book Club consists of students who have read 100 or more books during the school year. Our Media Specialist, Ms. Chase, plans special events to honor all of our 100 Book Club members. All you have to do is record each book that you read on the reading log inside of your homework folder.

We ask that when you send money for field trips, lunch, etc. you put it in an envelope or ziploc bag marked with your child's name, the amount of money enclosed, and what the money is intended for. This helps us keep money from getting mixed up or misplaced.

Students are required to wear tennis shoes (non-light up) as part of their uniform code of dress everyday. If your child arrives at school and is not dressed in the uniform code of dress, they will be sent to the office to phone home.

Students will need to bring a healthy snack to school each day. Please do not send candy or soft drinks.

If your child's mode of transportation should change, a note from the parent must be sent to school. The office does not accept transportation changes over the phone. Any bus changes must be made through the bus office. 

During the school year, students are asked to collect Box Tops for       Education. Each box top is worth 10 cents and are found on all sorts    of products. A complete list can be found here. Box tops can also be       earned by shopping through the Box Tops for Education Marketplace. Last year our school earned almost 1000 dollars!
