Attention Parents and Stakeholders of the Chester County School District:

The Chester County School District is in the process of reviewing our Title 1 District Parent and Family Engagement Policy. In addition, we are also seeking parent input on the district's Title 1 expenditures for 2017-2018. We are asking all parents of the Chester County School District to please take a few minutes to complete the survey  below. Your feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Meet Our New Assistant Principal!

Hello Everyone!

My name is Justin Tipton.  This is my first year as Assistant Principal at Great Falls Elementary and here is a little about me.

 Education:

BA in Special Education – Clemson University

2009

M.Ed. in Educational Administration – University of South Carolina

2013

 Personal:

I was born and raised in a little town called Boiling Springs in upstate SC.  I thoroughly enjoy working with children and helping them reach for their dreams through their education.  I believe every child should be valued and treated with respect.  A good education should empower a child and help him/her make a positive contribution to our community.

My wife and I have a beautiful family of two daughters and two 4-legged children. Lexington, SC has been our home for the past 2 years. During my free-time I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, golfing, cooking, scuba diving, and woodworking.

I look forward to getting to know all of you!

Faculty Spotlight Feature

This month our featured group will be our Fourth-Grade Teachers.

The teachers in our Fourth-Grade classrooms are:

Mrs. Debra Jordan

Mrs. Karlanna Twisdale

Mrs. Tonya Weir

These ladies work each day to provide our fourth graders with the knowledge and skills that will prepare them for future learning.  The teachers provide guided practice and developmentally appropriate activities that create opportunities for these students to thrive and grow and become independent learners.

Help me celebrate the talents and efforts of these caring individuals!
